In a statement released this morning, Rael cited Ehrlich’s “lifetime of efforts to stop world overpopulation and even asking to drastically reduce it.”

Ehrlich is known worldwide for his warnings concerning population sustainability.

Boisselier said Raelians support Ehrlich’s ideas for reducing world population, including such controversial options as mandatory population controls, easier access to birth control methods, abortion and redistribution of natural resources from the rich to the poor.

“Rael has repeatedly condemned politicians and religious leaders for selfishly encouraging people to have more babies,” Boisselier said. “And he has also requested that all religious books asking people to ‘multiply’ be declared illegal.”

Rael has taken a strong stance against those who oppose a reduction in world population.

“All those who try to stop such a decrease in any way, including those in the media who comment negatively about it, should one day be prosecuted for crimes against humanity – for being accomplices in the coming terrible overpopulation,” he commented recently.

Further, replacement of men by machines to do necessary work doesn’t have to be at the expense of our quality of life, according to Aymonier.

“Workers already think their replacement by machines leads to more unemployment and poverty. But it doesn’t have to be that way if the machines are owned by the people! In fact, the gains brought by the increased productivity could then be redistributed to all rather than to just a few.”

He said such a scenario is the key to a better future.

The IRM (www.rael.org) filed a lawsuit against the Pope during his visit to the United Kingdom in September 2010, alleging a pedophilia cover-up within the church as well as commission of crimes against humanity. The latter charge stems from the fact that the Vatican told millions of Africans that condoms do not stop the transmission of AIDS. On that basis, the IRM holds the Vatican responsible for millions of deaths in Africa.

We filed the lawsuit in 2010, trusting that the U.K. courts would treat this case fairly,” said Raelian Guide Ricky Roehr, who helped launch the initial lawsuit against the Pope. “We were encouraged when the lawsuit was accepted. Then, mysteriously, the case was stayed, preventing service on the Pope while he was in the United Kingdom. The lawsuit was eventually dismissed, although it had initially been reviewed by a judge."

Roehr said the Raelian Movement is known for its sharp criticism against Vatican policy and was even sued by the Vatican in Belgium for actions taken by one of the IRM’s offshoot organizations, NOPEDO (www.nopedo.org).

“NOPEDO reported publicly on pedophilia within the Church at a time where no one else dared to talk about it,” Roehr explained. “And now we’ve learned that, merely for the sake of political expediency, the U.K. Cabinet has partnered with the Vatican, the world’s largest protector of pedophiles and its largest promoter AIDS propagation. Children and AIDS victims have suffered so the U.K. Cabinet could bask in the Papal pageantry of the Pope’s visit.”

Roehr said that the IRM has learned through Freedom of Information requests filed within Britain that the U.K. Cabinet had “formulated a policy to prevent ‘legal threats’ against the Pope during his visit to the United Kingdom.”

“When asked why it had initiated this policy, the U.K. Cabinet denied our request for an explanation on the basis that it ‘involved the highest levels of the U.K. government, including privileged discussions among government ministers,’” Roehr said. “Privileged discussions? What privilege could protect pedophiles?”

He said the response showed that the U.K government is protecting the Pope.

“This Pope was formerly in charge of dealing with rampant cases of pedophilia under Pope John Paul II,” Roehr explained. “So he was most certainly in a position then to bury thousands of cases of pedophilia. He helped the Catholic Church save billions of dollars in damages as well as embarrassment in the eyes of the world.”

Roehr said the Raelian Movement will continue to appeal the case.

“Protecting a criminal over the rights of children is detestable,” he said. The U.K. government is complicit in criminal activity, just as anyone is who conspires to keep justice from being carried out. Furthermore, the English press, which we now know was rotten to the core through revelations of the Murdoch-News of the World scandal, apparently cooperated in this travesty.”

A worldwide protest organized by the IRM will take place in front of U.K. embassies on March 7.

“The Falkland islands, like all the lands of South America, undoubtedly belong to the South American natives,” Rael said in a statement released today by the International Raelian Movement (IRM). “The British Empire has no reason other than colonialism to keep such remote islands.”

The long-running dispute between Britain and Argentina concerning the Falklands escalated recently after Prince William was deployed to the area, and Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador and Bolivia, leaders of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA), have jointly approved a resolution favoring Argentina in the dispute.

“What would the people of England do if Jersey, for example, had been ‘discovered’ 500 years ago by some Argentinean sailors who created a ‘settlement’ there?” Rael asked. “Would the British accept an Argentinean territory right at England’s doorstep?”

Last week, Rael also denounced the colonialism of France, which still owns the large, South American territory of French Guiana. Native Americans who live there are denied the right to own their own land, which is widely considered to be a basic human right.

Rael has also launched several “decolonization” campaigns in Africa and South America, and he says political decolonization doesn’t go far enough.

“A spiritual decolonization is also an indispensable condition for the future development of these continents,” he explained. “Presidents Chavez and Morales are perfectly correct in pursuing their decolonization politics. And Mao Tse Tung also understood this principle; he launched the necessary Cultural Revolution to take China to the superpower status it now enjoys."

Raelian spokesperson Luke Roberts, who also speaks for ARAMIS (the Raelian Association of Sexual Minorities), explained in a statement released today that the parade committee objected both to the use of mainstream religious symbols in the word HOMOPHOBIA and to the phrase, “Homophobia is criminal bible bullshit.”

In his statement, Roberts (aka Pope Alice, an icon of the Gay Movement) denounced the Mardi Gras committee’s request to remove religious symbols from the word “homophobia.”

“It’s an absurd request considering that mainstream religions created homophobia in the first place,” he said. “And use of the word bullshit is really pretty mild when there isn’t a word despicable enough to describe the religious killings of millions of GLBTQ people [the acronym stands for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer] for centuries, or for the ongoing bullying, gay bashing and murders inspired by religious leaders and texts. Nor is there a word to convey the hopelessness that young gay, lesbian and transgender people feel in a world full of religious prejudice against them.”

“It was a worrying development when the Mardi Gras committee pandered to religious pressure and thereby insulted the founders and the very spirit of Mardi Gras,” Roberts continued. “The committee actually lost sight of the reasons this event originated. It appears that religious individuals have infiltrated Mardi Gras to pursue their agendas against gay rights and other freedoms, just as they do in schools and governments.”

Roberts said it’s important for those who disagree with such agendas to speak out now.

“To be silent on this serious matter is to be complicit with the censorship of free speech by the Mardi Gras board and its Parade Committee,” he emphasized. “If we don’t speak out against the homophobic crimes of mainstream religions, we are also complicit in those crimes, and thereby doomed to live truncated lives dominated by religious bigotry.”

“That’s why we’re asking all gay Christians, gay Muslims and gay Jews to leave their religions. By remaining in those religions, they are hypocrites supporting crimes against their own people, and they’re also giving strength to mainstream religious fervor, whether they are openly gay or not.”

Roberts said the Raelian Movement understands that the Bible “has been manipulated by vested human interests and needs to be censored to remove the lies and hateful passages.” But he said Raelians respect other Biblical passages that detail contact with the Elohim, a race of extraterrestrial scientists mistaken for gods by our ancestors. Raelian philosophy teaches that the Elohim “made humans in their own image and after their own likeness.”

Raelians also respect Christ as one of the great prophets, along with Buddha, Moses and Mohammed.

“More than ever, we must speak out and prevent religious lobbying and prejudice masquerading as political correctness,” Roberts said. “We must show that those with this agenda are putting undue pressure on Mardi Gras. And most of all, we need to ask, ‘Now that you know, what can you do about it?’ With that in mind, we’re asking those with floats in this parade to highlight religious homophobia by displaying our message.

And we’re also looking for people prepared to hang the “banned banner” on their buildings and/or in window spaces along the parade route, particularly at Oxford and Flinders Streets, or on their floats during the Mardi Gras Parade. We ask the community to assist us in getting this message out by promoting it freely and openly!”

Bradley’s Nobel Peace Prize nomination was proposed by The Movement of Icelandic Parliament, which asserts that revelations allegedly exposed by Manning “have helped to fuel a worldwide discussion about America’s overseas engagements, civilian war casualties, imperialistic manipulations, and rules of engagement.”

When he awarded Manning the Honorary Guide for Humanity title, Rael praised the soldier’s courage in revealing the dirty secrets of governments.

“Manning's example will push all military personnel of the world to do the same, so that no government or military leader can illegally kill, torture or do anything else that violates human rights,” Rael said at the time. He also asked Nobel Prize winner President Barack Obama “to have the honesty to return his prize after leading the attack on Libya and killing the civilians he claimed to protect.”

“I deeply hope that Manning gets the majority of the [Nobel committee] votes so that his Commander-in-Chief gets a lesson in what it takes to bring peace to the world,” Rael said in today’s statement. “We need to honor all the whistleblowers of the world if we want a chance to stop all these military crimes.”
