LAS VEGAS, March 11 – The Raelian philosophy teaches that guilt, frustration and antiquated Judeo-Christian values are at the core of many contemporary health problems. A recent study of 10,000 Israelis made at Tel Aviv University over 34 years confirmed the truth of this teaching when the results showed that men in unhappy marriages have a 64 percent higher risk of stroke when compared with those in happy marriages. When Rael, leader of the Raelian Movement, heard of a BBC report entitled, "Happy Marriage Cuts Stokes," which cited the Tel Aviv study, he lambasted what he called "the politically correct title."
"If you're in an unhappy marriage, divorce will save your life," he said in a statement released today.
“The Puritanism and politically correct Judeo-Christian conformism implied in this article as a means to good health and stroke prevention actually causes misery and frustration,” he said. “In fact, divorce can save your life if you’re with the wrong partner and this is what I suggested to Tiger Woods who is obviously in such unhappy marriage”.
“It is really disturbing to see how our society can easily twist scientific results to promote its 'normality'” adds Dr Boisselier, spokesperson of the International Raelian Movement.
“This study was actually giving evidence that a happy relationship helps prevent health problem. The media transformed the results into a promotion of marriage. Similarly we see the concept of sex addiction being adopted everywhere and men like Tiger Woods feeling obligated to apologize for their sexuality while again there is no such thing as sex addiction. There is instead a big array of sexual diversity; some want much more sex than others and experts agree with the Raelian philosophy according to which there is no 'normal sexuality'.
“People are healthiest when they’re free to enjoy many sexual partners,” explains Rael. “In fact, I encourage people to explore ‘polyamory,’ which means loving many people simultaneously and without jealousy.”
Rael said true spirituality never spawns guilt, shame or feelings of betrayal.
“Only a distorted, false spirituality does that,” he explained. “True spirituality promotes freedom and happiness by encouraging sexual freedom and exploration. The old Judeo-Christian teachings are repressive and anti-spiritual. They pronounce sexual freedom sinful when it should be the great source of pleasure our creators, the Elohim, intended.”
Humans aren’t meant to be monogamous, conforming robots, he said. Nor are they meant to be troubled by guilt, shame, resentment or jealousy.
“Those troubled by such feelings should attend the Happiness Academy given by Rael himself in Las Vegas at the end of March” said Boisselier. “There they will experience an authentic spirituality that eliminates guilt and fear and encourages them to fully enjoy life, which includes exploring their freedom to have sex with different partners in polyamory. This Raelian prescription for happiness is supported by scientific research that proves human beings were created for pleasure. So our philosophy is on very solid ground!”
The Happiness Academy seminar will take place at the Alexis Park Hotel in Las Vegas from March 28 to April 4,” . Attendance is free for newcomers.
