Raelians willing to help teachers with 'Atheist Intelligent Design' for the education syllabus
SYDNEY, June 9 - The RAELIANS applaud the recent decision by Queensland to include Intelligent Design in the state school curriculum. The irony is to see the teachers' concern against Intelligent Design only days after the first life has been scientifically created by the team of Craig Venter. "Intelligent Design has just been reproduced in laboratory and that makes it a valid and very competitive scientific theory on how life originated on earth." says Jarel, the Raelian guide for Australia. "But what Craig Venter has demonstrated is not the intelligent design by a supernatural God, but by scientists. We call it Atheist Design."
Atheist Design is a branch of the Intelligent Design theory that explains the origin of life on earth as being a scientific creation by Extra-terrestrial beings. The earth has been designed to support life or "terraformed" by an advanced civilisation from space. Life on earth originated from laboratories similar to Craig Venter's where scientists and artists genetically engineered its diversity, its equilibrium and beauty.
"I understand and agree with the concern of the teachers." adds Jarel. "It will be misleading and confusing to the students if Intelligent Design by a supernatural God was taught in the class room as a scientific theory. God has nothing to do with science. One cannot observe and experiment with something that doesn't exist". Jarel asks the teachers to realise that the scientific arguments used by intelligent design supporters don't necessarily lead to the existence of a designer God but to designer scientists that we mistook for Gods. Intelligent Design theory is good science only if it is presented in the context of Atheist Design.
"Atheist Design is 100% scientific and it is the only truly scientific theory we have to explain the origin of life on earth." claims Jarel. "We cannot reproduce God in laboratory. We cannot reproduce the original soup and the chaos long enough to see a living being crawling out of a test tube either. The only theory that has ever been observed and reproduced in laboratory is Atheist Design, Intelligent Design by scientists."
Jarel asks the teachers not to ignore the scientific evidence for intelligent design by fear of introducing mysticism in the class room.
"It is important to destroy mysticism but also Darwinism which has been influencing our culture in a very destructive way, justifying competition and elimination for our own selfish survival instead of cooperation and brotherhood between all the living. We are not here by accident awaiting for our future extinction. Our life has a higher purpose. The one to grow and spread life, love and consciousness throughout the universe. It is important to make our children proud of being human and present them with a positive outlook of the future by giving them the dream of one day equal our creators by creating life on other planets."
