Sydney, July 2nd: The International Raelian Movement invites all Australians who value their right to freedom of speech to join the protest being organised by the NotoPope Coalition on July 19th.

RAEL, spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement on tour in Japan, after learning about the ban on anti-pope protest, declared: "It is time for all Australian people who love their freedom of speech to prepare anti-pope banners and go into the street on this day. It is a question of numbers, if thousands of people actively protest these anti-freedom laws then the police and government will not be able to do anything."
"It is imperative to stand up and not allow ourselves to be intimidated by these anti-freedom laws." said Gerry Texeira, Raelian Guide in charge of the Sydney chapter. This is the 21st Century, after all isn’t it? Don’t Australians who are concerned about the Pope’s stance on homosexuality and his anti-condom position have the right to peacefully express themselves?”

The peaceful march will still be taking place on July 19th. With thousands of conscious Australians standing up for themselves, peacefully expressing their opinion, the NSW State Government would be impeaching on the Human Rights Declaration by choosing to go ahead and arrest free civilians.
“These are bully tactics, and we won’t stand for it,” adds Jarel Aymonier, the leader of the Australian Raelian Movement.

The Raelian position is clear: all humans have the right to peacefully demonstrate, especially against the Catholic pope, the leader of an organization that has arguably committed serious crimes against humanity and still does, considering the number of children still abused by their priests, the number of Catholics dying from aids because they are told condoms is wrong...

Australia, the world is watching and we invite fellow civil rights from not just in Australia but from around the world to join our peaceful rally on July 19th.
